Bedding is bagged and sealed inside the room, then washed and dried hot. Steam runs along the seams and edges, because heat reaches the cemented eggs that a liquid never will.

A non-repellent product goes onto the harbourage itself, with a dust into voids and screw holes. We do not use a repellent aerosol, because it drives the insect deeper into the wall and into the next room.

Yes. A shared sofa can carry bed bugs from one infested villa to another faster than the open street would, so we include it in any treatment round inside the compound.

A furniture delivery from Al Murjan Mall visits another villa on the same round, is our new piece at risk?

The new furniture itself rarely carries bed bugs, but a truck making several stops in one day can pick up an egg from a showroom or an earlier house, so it is worth checking a piece as soon as it arrives.

We visit relatives in nearby Al Basatin and swap a few cushions, does that short trip need checking?

Distance does not change the risk. Bed bugs travel just as easily over two kilometres as over twenty if they are caught in the fabric of a cushion, so anything that comes back from an overnight visit is worth a check.
