Yes, but the campus is extensive with many buildings. We start by inspecting the building where the snake entered, checking gaps around the foundation and pipes. The snake may have come from a garden, from below-ground gaps or through an open window.

Does Wadi Uranah flood carry snakes in the winter torrent?

The wadi carries rats and small animals in flood, and snakes arrive later hunting the displaced rodents. Snakes do not travel in the torrent itself but follow migrating rat populations afterwards.
