How we work

Inspect and map the spread

We strip the bed and work through the mattress and base seams, the frame joints, the headboard and the skirting, then check the upholstered furniture and the neighbouring rooms to see how far it has gone.

Laundry, heat and steam

Bedding is bagged and sealed inside the room, then washed and dried hot. Steam runs along the seams and edges, because heat reaches the cemented eggs that a liquid never will.

Targeted, non-repellent application

A non-repellent product goes onto the harbourage itself, with a dust into voids and screw holes. We do not use a repellent aerosol, because it drives the insect deeper into the wall and into the next room.

Monitoring and the follow-up visit

A sealed encasement goes onto the mattress and the base, with monitors under the bed legs, then we return once the remaining eggs have hatched and re-treat anything still active.

South Makkah sub municipality is the belt of Crown Prince schemes south of Al Ukayshiyah, along the Al Laith road and the extension of Ibrahim Al Khalil Road to the Fifth Ring Road and the Non Muslims bypass. Does keeping bedroom windows shut against street dust hide bed bugs from us?

Shutting the windows against dust from work on the spine street does not affect the insect itself. It stays inside the mattress seam and the frame joints, away from light and air either way, so we still find it by checking those places directly rather than by watching the room from outside.

Does the mat we take for evening sits by Jabal Al Raqid need checking?

Yes. Any mat that gets folded and pushed under the bed touches the exact spot bed bugs favour most. If the room already has an infestation, it picks it up quickly, so we check it as part of checking the bed itself rather than as a separate item.
