I brought boxes of stock into the house, what should I watch for?

Cardboard and wooden pallets are among the most common carriers of German cockroach eggs. Do not store them for long inside the kitchen or the home store. Empty the contents, get the cardboard out of the house, and tell us so we can check where it was kept.

A workshop is close to us, do its drains bring cockroaches?

Usually yes. The floor drains in a workshop are damp, warm and full of grease, and they are a breeding ground for the American cockroach that comes out at night towards nearby homes. We treat the gully traps and outer entry points to cut the route before it reaches you.

There are empty plots around us, do they play a part?

The open ground and the long runs of manholes between buildings are a corridor cockroaches use at night to move from one building to another. We inspect the outer perimeter and the drain openings at the edge of the plot, and place treatment at the entry points, not only inside the kitchen.

There is a shop below me and housing above, how do you treat it?

A mixed building needs a connected treatment. An infestation in the shop below the flat climbs through the pipes and cable openings into the kitchen above it. We treat the shop and the home together and follow the vertical route between them, so no source is left to feed the other.

After rain we see large cockroaches, why is that?

Rain fills the manholes and drain lines under the wide plots, so the American cockroaches climb up looking for dry space inside the buildings. We seal the drain openings tightly and treat the perimeter after rain, and we focus on the ground floor where they enter first.
