I bring cartons and bags home from the market, do roaches come with them?

Yes. Corrugated cardboard is a favourite spot for German cockroach eggs, and the Bani Malik souk is a daily source of it. Unpack shopping outside the kitchen, get rid of the cartons straight away, and do not store them under the sink or behind the fridge.

The flat walls are old and cracked, do roaches hide in them?
