Al Falah was built on level ground; foundation excavation may have broken through or exposed groundwater layers. Moisture rises through concrete and walls, encouraging mould growth inside. What we look at before the product is chosen

The district is bounded by Al Bashair to the north, Al Hamdaniyah and Al Salihiyah to the south and Al Rahmaniyah to the east, surrounded by active construction sites, excavations and the neighbourhood parks on its fringes.

We go through the rooms and mark the touch points, the porous surfaces and the finishes, then ask what prompted the call: illness at home, moving into a new place, building work, or a smell that arrived out of nowhere.

Clean what we are about to treat

We take the film of dust and grease off the surfaces that are in scope, so the product reaches the surface itself. This is preparation for the treatment, not general house cleaning.

Apply it, and hold the contact time

Hand work on the touch points, a product matched to each surface, and the surface left visibly wet for as long as that material needs before it is dried off. Cold fogging comes last, for what a cloth cannot reach.

Ventilate and hand back

We open the place up, rinse food preparation surfaces with water, and tell you when each room goes back into use. We give you that timing on the call, because it changes with the product and the space.

Taybah sub municipality covers the newly built districts of north east Jeddah along Al Haramain Road and Asfan Road. New villas and apartment buildings stand among vacant plots, building sites and half finished subdivisions. Al Hamdaniyah is the oldest and densest part with its markets and shops, while Al Furusiyah, Al Bashair, Al Rahmaniyah, Al Falah and Al Salihiyah are mostly recent. Questions about this district

A new flat in Al Falah, does moisture come from the building itself or from outside humidity?

Moisture can come from both sources. New construction traps humidity from mixing and initial curing, and the outside air in a district with active building work carries additional moisture. Natural air circulation and good ventilation for several weeks after moving in helps the building dry out completely.

How do we reduce humidity before disinfection? Open windows or close them?

Before disinfection, windows and doors should be fully open to dry the space as much as possible. Immediately after application, close windows to allow the disinfectant to work without rapid evaporation. After the required contact time, open thoroughly to clear odours.

Is black mould on the foundation a health hazard or just an unsightly appearance?

Black mould releases spores into the air that can cause respiratory problems, especially in children and those with allergies. Removal and disinfection are necessary for health reasons, not just cosmetic ones.

After disinfection, does mould return quickly in a new district like Al Falah?
