Yes, far more. The restaurant provides continuous food and a scorpion will enter and find everything it needs. Moisture from cooking, heat, food scraps, small insects. Then it climbs the shared stair to your flat. Flats next to restaurants and shops are at much higher risk.

Does treating only the restaurant stop scorpions entering my flat?

No. Treating the restaurant stops scorpions from entering directly from the street. But those already in the restaurant or entering via the shared stair will climb to the flat. We need to treat the flat as well and seal the shared gaps.

Why are the gaps around pipes in the stair dangerous?

A scorpion enters through them directly from the restaurant into the stair. Pipes run through the stair and the gaps around them are wide. Treating these gaps is essential and part of complete service.

Can a scorpion from the market next to me enter my flat?

Yes, especially at night. The lane between the building and the market is narrow and the distance is small. The scorpion moves at night seeking shelter. Your flat may be the nearby refuge. Do not rely on distance alone.
