Treatment always starts with your flat, but if we find activity near the door or on the shared landing itself, we recommend checking the neighbouring flats on that same landing too, because bed bugs travel short distances on foot rather than flying between doors.

Four of us sleep in one small room in our older flat, is one bed enough to check?

No. Where several beds or mattresses share one room we check all of them together, since bed bugs move easily between beds that sit close to each other and rarely stay confined to the one where the problem was first noticed.

We visit relatives in Al Nazlah Al Yamaniyah weekly and sometimes sleep over, does that matter?

We air mattresses on the balcony, close to the next door balcony, does that spread bed bugs?

Bed bugs cannot fly or jump far, but on a narrow street where balconies sit close together, fabric brushing against fabric is a real enough possibility that we recommend checking mattresses before they go back onto the bed.
