Survey the roof and the facade

We walk the roof, the projections, the condenser platforms and the shafts, separate the nesting positions from the perching ones, and measure and photograph every ledge.

Strip the nests and treat the parasites

Droppings are wetted before they are lifted so nothing goes airborne dry, bagged closed, and the nest position is treated for ticks and mites before the surface is sanitised.

Close and fit

Netting tensioned on a perimeter wire with no gap at the corners, spikes or wire on the narrow projections, metal mesh across vents and shafts, and the roof drains freed of the nest material packing them.

The follow-up visit

We come back to check the tension, the corners and any position the flock has moved to, and correct what has slackened before a bird finds it.

Very much so. Salt air and humidity cause rapid rust. We use stainless steel, aluminium or non metal options, and maintenance every six months is essential here.

The old house has weak concrete and the ledge is fragile; will heavy deterrents install safely on weak concrete?

Weak concrete needs careful inspection. We may use specialist anchors for damaged surfaces or rely on alternative fixing methods.

My house sits next to the iron factory and pigeons come from there; should we treat the factory or my house?

The factory has a separate owner. We focus on your house. Deterrents on your ledges stop entry even if pigeons originate from the factory.

The treatment works is beside us and tiny insects come from there; will deterrents stop them?

Our deterrents target pigeons. Small insects from the works need a separate solution with a specialist pest control provider.
