Bird and pigeon control in Al Sanabil Jeddah
Al Sanabil is a recent south Jeddah district on Al Laith Road with Al Ajawid to the north, the Industrial City to the west, Al Huda to the east and Al Taawun to the south. Large areas have been fully developed with villas and apartments, and Al Sanabil Main Street and Prince Abdulmajeed Street run through it. Al Usaimi Mosque, Al Rida Mosque, Al Sanabil Park and a primary care centre serve the district and provide geographical anchors.

Why they keep coming back in Al Sanabil
Pigeons in Al Sanabil settle equally on new villas and apartments because the environment and ledges are identical. The method is set out in full on how we approach Bird and pigeon control.
Al Sanabil Park as water and food source in the district centre
Al Sanabil Park provides water, trees and shade in the district heart, and pigeons spend daylight hours in the park before returning to surrounding villas and blocks at dusk. The park continuously attracts pigeons, especially when visitors drop food scraps. The district is ringed by food sources within very close range.
Al Laith Road and the Industrial City and their commercial activity
Al Laith Road to the north has shops and restaurants with heavy commercial traffic. The Industrial City to the west has warehouses and workshops that discard refuse and food scraps. Pigeons feed on street refuse and industrial waste and return to the district to roost.
Al Ajawid, Al Huda and Al Taawun surrounding Al Sanabil
Al Sanabil is surrounded by occupied districts: Al Ajawid to the north, Al Huda to the east and Al Taawun to the south. Each has its own pigeon problems. Pigeons move easily between these closely spaced districts. Treating Al Sanabil alone may not last if neighbouring districts are pigeon dense.
Al Sanabil on the map
Al Sanabil sits about 3.5 km from Al Huda and about 3.5 km from Prince Abdul Majeed.

New villas and apartment blocks on Al Laith Road, the Industrial City on the western boundary, Al Sanabil Park providing water and trees, mosques and services throughout the district.
Ledge width
Ledges on new villas and apartment blocks in Al Sanabil are broad and uniform, providing consistent and safe perching.
Air conditioning platforms
Air conditioning units on villas and blocks provide robust and distributed platforms across roofs.
The nest itself
Nests form at equal speed on villas and blocks in Al Sanabil because the environment is identical.
The droppings pattern
Droppings from nests fall equally on villa gardens or building passages, causing odours and slip hazards.
Openings and shafts
Ventilation and openings are uniform on new villas and blocks, making pigeon entry easy from multiple points.
Around the roof tank
Water tanks on new roofs are very exposed to contamination from perching pigeons standing near fill caps.
How we work
-
1
Survey the roof and the facade
We walk the roof, the projections, the condenser platforms and the shafts, separate the nesting positions from the perching ones, and measure and photograph every ledge.
-
2
Strip the nests and treat the parasites
Droppings are wetted before they are lifted so nothing goes airborne dry, bagged closed, and the nest position is treated for ticks and mites before the surface is sanitised.
-
3
Close and fit
Netting tensioned on a perimeter wire with no gap at the corners, spikes or wire on the narrow projections, metal mesh across vents and shafts, and the roof drains freed of the nest material packing them.
-
4
The follow-up visit
We come back to check the tension, the corners and any position the flock has moved to, and correct what has slackened before a bird finds it.
What bird and pigeon control includes
-
A recorded survey
Every ledge, condenser platform and shaft, photographed, with nesting separated from perching before anything is chosen.
-
Nest removal and drain clearing
Lifted wet rather than swept dry, bagged closed, and the roof drains freed of the nest material packing them.
-
Parasite treatment and sanitising
The nest position treated for ticks and mites, then the surface the droppings sat on sanitised.
-
Sealing and fitting the deterrents
Netting tensioned on a perimeter wire, spikes or wire on narrow projections, and metal mesh across ventilation openings.
-
Aftercare instructions
The condensate water, food left on the roof, and what should not sit beside a ledge if the attraction is to stay gone.
-
A follow-up on tension and corners
Netting slackens and corners open over time; the visit corrects that and closes any new position.

Questions about this district
Al Sanabil Park is very close to the villa. Do pigeons come from the park daily?
Yes, absolutely. The park is their main water and food source. Pigeons raid your villa from the park at dawn and return there at dusk. Fitting a deterrent cuts part of their daily cycle but the park will still attract others.
Al Laith Road is extremely busy with traffic and people. Is fitting the deterrent facade safe?
Yes, we fit deterrents on roofs and upper ledges well away from the street. We may coordinate if fitting requires work on the front facade facing the road, but the work is completely safe.
The Industrial City borders the west with workshops and refuse. Does that attract pigeons?
Very much. The Industrial City is a constant refuse and food scrap source for pigeons. Some nest permanently in warehouses and workshops and move to the district to rest. The district will remain pigeon attractive while the Industrial City operates.
Al Huda, Al Ajawid and Al Taawun surround Al Sanabil. Do pigeons migrate between them?
Yes, very easily. Closely spaced districts make it hard to stop pigeon movement. For a lasting fix, consider coordinating treatment with your neighbours. A single treatment may not hold long.
Al Usaimi and Al Rida Mosques are in the district. Do pigeons nest in them?
Mosques typically have ledges and roofs attractive to pigeons. If a mosque has pigeon problems, that requires separate treatment. Treating your home reduces the pigeon population, benefiting the mosques too.
Al Sanabil Primary Care Centre is near the home. Can pigeons enter it?
Health centres are normally sealed for climate control and pigeons do not enter. But birds may land on the roof and shed parasites. Deterrents on your home reduce the district pigeon population, benefiting the centre as well.
How much does bird and pigeon control in Al Sanabil cost?
It is set after the inspection, because the price follows the type of infestation, the size of the space, how far it has spread and the number of visits it needs. Send a photo and a description on WhatsApp and we will give you an estimate before we reach Al Sanabil.
