Droppings are wetted before they are lifted so nothing goes airborne dry, bagged closed, and the nest position is treated for ticks and mites before the surface is sanitised.

Close and fit

Netting tensioned on a perimeter wire with no gap at the corners, spikes or wire on the narrow projections, metal mesh across vents and shafts, and the roof drains freed of the nest material packing them.

The follow-up visit

We come back to check the tension, the corners and any position the flock has moved to, and correct what has slackened before a bird finds it.

Questions about this district

The shop and flat belong to different owners. Who approves deterrent fitting on the shared edge?

Both owners must agree on fitting and agree to share costs. We help coordinate between them, but if either refuses, the deterrent cannot go up. Each owner can choose to fit deterrents on their own ledge sections separately.

Traffic and pedestrian movement on Aabir Al Qarat Street is very heavy. Is fitting work safe?

We fit deterrents on roofs and upper ledges, not at street level, so heavy traffic does not affect safety. We may need a very brief traffic pause if the fit requires work directly on the facade facing the street.

The shops have a basement underneath. Can pigeons enter from down there?

Pigeons rarely enter basements because they are sealed and poorly lit. If ventilation holes or side doors stand open, they might enter from there. Main treatment focuses on the top ledge and the facade.

We use scaffolding or safe mobile elevated platforms to access these gaps safely. We remove nests and droppings carefully, then seal gaps with non toxic pigeon safe materials. For deep cracks we inject the deterrent from inside.

We coordinate to work during quieter walkway times, usually early morning or late evening. Barriers and internal treatments create no noise or odour, so visitor impact is minimal.

The abundant walkway pigeons will not disappear, but treating your shop and flat prevents them from settling on your buildings. You may see them elsewhere on the walkway, but new nests on your property will fall dramatically.
