Mosquito control in Al Umrah Al Jadidah Makkah

Al Umrah Al Jadidah is a modern residential district on the Madinah road near the Fourth Ring Road, forming the planned newer half of the wider Al Umrah area. Villas and apartments spread across spacious plots, with service projects and parks under construction and ongoing watering. Building is not yet complete and vacant plots are extensive, each new garden needs water daily, and every depression in the plan can become a mosquito hotspot.

  • Targeted, not broadcast

Product goes into cracks and runways, never sprayed across open surfaces.

  • Told before we start

What we will use, where it goes, and what to cover or move before we arrive.

  • A follow-up visit

We return after the first treatment, because what survives it does not show on the day.

  • Homes and businesses

Apartments and villas, and kitchens and stores that need a record of each visit.

Why they keep coming back in Al Umrah Al Jadidah

The district is new and its green spaces and gardens are growing and need regular watering, with modern drainage good but excess water pooling in gaps. The method is set out in full on how we approach Mosquito control.

The first reason

Moonlight family park and large irrigated planted areas

Moonlight family park is vast and needs daily watering, with overflow collecting in basins and low points. The park provides a constant water source and shade from growing trees. Mosquitoes breed in the park pools and around sprinkler heads.

The second reason

New villas and apartments with private gardens for each unit

Every villa and apartment has a garden or planted area needing water. Villas may have ornamental pools and apartments have grass strips. Excess watering water collects in gaps and depressions between homes.

The third reason

Vacant plots between phases and incomplete service projects

Wide tracts of Al Umrah Al Jadidah remain vacant, with service facilities under construction. Water from rain and government irrigation pools in these gaps. Each new building phase reduces vacant space but increases water sources.

How we work

  1. 1

    Inspect and map the water

We walk the perimeter, the roof, the garden, the meter chambers and the condensate runs, record everything that holds water, and read the species from the breeding site and the time of biting.

  2. 2

Remove the water that can go

Empty, invert, cover: saucers, containers, old tyres and roof gullies. Every point that disappears is a treatment that never needs repeating.

  3. 3

Larval treatment, then the resting surfaces

Water that cannot be drained is treated so the larva never completes, then a residual goes under planting, beneath outdoor furniture and along low shaded walls.

  4. 4

    The follow-up visit

We come back once the generation that was in the water on the first visit has completed, review every point we recorded and re-treat where needed.

Questions about this district

Is Moonlight family park the main mosquito source in Al Umrah Al Jadidah?

Moonlight park is an important source, but villas and apartments also supply water. Every villa garden and planned district garden provides standing water after each watering cycle.

Do new apartment blocks have drainage problems like the villas?

New apartments may have better drainage than villas, but their shared gardens can pool water if ground is uneven. Each new residential building may need its own treatment.

Do new mosques and health centres have extra water sources?

Yes, mosques and health centres have courtyards and grounds that may need watering. Ablution water and drainage from these buildings can be a source.

How often should Al Umrah Al Jadidah need treatment with daily watering?

Daily watering creates continuous standing water. Regular treatment every two to three weeks may be needed in the warm season.

Can vacant plots between building phases be a mosquito source?

Yes absolutely. Vacant plots can hold water after rain or irrigation, and every depression can become a breeding ground.

Does regular irrigation of nearby government parks affect Al Umrah Al Jadidah?

Nearby irrigation may increase overall humidity and surface runoff toward Al Umrah Al Jadidah. But internal water sources are far more important than outside effects.

How much does mosquito control in Al Umrah Al Jadidah cost?

It is set after the inspection, because the price follows the type of infestation, the size of the space, how far it has spread and the number of visits it needs. Send a photo and a description on WhatsApp and we will give you an estimate before we reach Al Umrah Al Jadidah.
