Does a villa surrounded by a high wall need more frequent treatment than one without?

Yes, because the wall provides constant shelter for scorpions. Treatment must include the wall and all gaps around it, in addition to treating the house itself, and regular follow up checks are needed.

What about gaps where wall panels meet each other and where the wall meets its foundation?

These gaps are critical. They may be wide or retain moisture from irrigation. Treatment must penetrate into these joints, and pesticide may need to be injected deep into them to reach sheltering scorpions.
