If my villa is right next to the channel, what should be done?

Focused external treatment around the entire villa perimeter, especially the side facing the channel. Seal every gap around small drains. Treat the base and walls. You may need regular treatment because the channel is a continuous source.

Is internal villa treatment alone enough?

No. The source is external (the channel). External treatment is far more important. Inside protects, but outside, drain holes and foundations are essential.

What is the best time to treat a villa next to the channel?

At night, because the scorpion is active and outside searching. Treat outside first and inside second. You may need treatment of the perimeter and the channel immediately in front.

If a scorpion appears after treatment, does that mean treatment failed?

Not necessarily. The channel is a continuous source and a new scorpion may enter after two or three months. Regular treatment every three months may be necessary for villas close to channels.
