We treat the rodents and the geckos on the perimeter, then return once that activity has settled to check the sealed points and look for any fresh track.

What is different about Al Aziziyah Sub-Municipality

The Al Aziziyah sub municipality takes in the established heart of northern Jeddah, from the Al Hamra corniche on the Red Sea to Al Rehab east of King Abdullah Road. Its buildings date back decades, mostly mid rise apartment blocks over shops and closely packed restaurants along Makarona Road, Tahliah Street and Palestine Street, alongside villas and hotel towers near the shore. Is the snake coming through the drain or under the door?

It enters through gaps below doors and windows, via foundation cracks and service pipes. In older buildings it finds its way through cracks in the concrete and stonework. The snake is thin enough to pass through openings the eye cannot see.

The flat is completely sealed. How did the snake get in?

Doors and windows never close completely. Tiny gaps exist below the main door, around pipes and in ventilation openings. A snake is thinner than a finger and passes through gaps barely visible to the naked eye.

What draws snakes into an occupied apartment?

Rodents, geckos, cockroaches and insects. The snake is not hunting people, it is hunting food. If your flat is free of rodents and insects a snake has no reason to enter it.

After removal, how soon might another one enter the same flat?

If the entry point is not sealed and rodents and damp remain, another may arrive within days. Sealing the gaps and treating the moisture and rodent infestation prevents the next arrival.

Do you treat rodents and damp after removing the snake?

Yes. Snake removal alone is incomplete treatment. We seal the entry route and address the moisture, drainage and rodent infestation that drew it in, preventing further snakes.
