How we work

Inspect and map the spread

We strip the bed and work through the mattress and base seams, the frame joints, the headboard and the skirting, then check the upholstered furniture and the neighbouring rooms to see how far it has gone.

Laundry, heat and steam

Bedding is bagged and sealed inside the room, then washed and dried hot. Steam runs along the seams and edges, because heat reaches the cemented eggs that a liquid never will.

Targeted, non-repellent application

A non-repellent product goes onto the harbourage itself, with a dust into voids and screw holes. We do not use a repellent aerosol, because it drives the insect deeper into the wall and into the next room.

Monitoring and the follow-up visit

A sealed encasement goes onto the mattress and the base, with monitors under the bed legs, then we return once the remaining eggs have hatched and re-treat anything still active.

There is no direct link between damp walls and bed bugs, since they shelter in dry seams and joints away from moisture, so we check the furniture and bedding regardless of how the wall looks.

Yes, we check every room the crew has entered and rested in, since their repeated movement between rooms is enough to carry bed bugs from one part of the villa to another.

Our street is partly closed for the drainage project, will that delay the inspection?

We plan an alternative route to reach the house before the appointment, since a closed section of street does not change the inspection itself, only the way we get to you.

We are the first tenants in a new building near Prince Khalid Road, is the inspection still needed?

Yes, an infestation can arrive with the furniture or the moving boxes themselves before either reaches the flat, and a first inspection records the state of the place before later use makes the source harder to trace.

One of the builders sleeps in an annexe room during finishing work, should we check his bedding after he leaves?

Yes, the annexe room is checked as part of the house once the worker has finished staying there, especially since temporary bedding and sleeping items can later move into the family's own rooms.

A night guard stays in a temporary room on the vacant plot next door, is that a risk?

As long as the guard does not enter your home or use its furniture the risk stays limited, but if you ever borrow a mattress or chair from him it is worth checking it before it comes indoors.
