We walk the roof, the projections, the condenser platforms and the shafts, separate the nesting positions from the perching ones, and measure and photograph every ledge.

Strip the nests and treat the parasites

Droppings are wetted before they are lifted so nothing goes airborne dry, bagged closed, and the nest position is treated for ticks and mites before the surface is sanitised.

Close and fit

Netting tensioned on a perimeter wire with no gap at the corners, spikes or wire on the narrow projections, metal mesh across vents and shafts, and the roof drains freed of the nest material packing them.

Questions about this district

The furnished flats on Quraish Street are full of tourists, can we solve this?

Yes but with the flat owners' cooperation. Tourists throw crumbs, so we recommend closing balconies and windows with fine mesh, and fitting barriers to shared roofs.

The building is very old and the stone is weak; can we fit mesh to the wall?

On very weak stone we must be careful. We use strong adhesive or fit to separate metal frames that do not touch the stone itself.

After treatment will pigeons return from Al Nuzhah or Al Faisaliyah?
