How we work

Survey the roof and the facade

We walk the roof, the projections, the condenser platforms and the shafts, separate the nesting positions from the perching ones, and measure and photograph every ledge.

Strip the nests and treat the parasites

Droppings are wetted before they are lifted so nothing goes airborne dry, bagged closed, and the nest position is treated for ticks and mites before the surface is sanitised.

Close and fit

Netting tensioned on a perimeter wire with no gap at the corners, spikes or wire on the narrow projections, metal mesh across vents and shafts, and the roof drains freed of the nest material packing them.

The follow-up visit

We come back to check the tension, the corners and any position the flock has moved to, and correct what has slackened before a bird finds it.

The Jeddah refinery is next door, does this increase the pigeons?

Yes significantly. The refinery provides a damp warm environment that attracts pigeons and insects. Treatment focuses on protecting the home from pigeons drawn from the refinery.

The vacant plots are numerous and excavations are open; does this super-attract pigeons?

Yes greatly. Vacant land and open excavations provide many shelters for pigeons. Treatment must focus strongly on protecting the home itself.

New construction is still ongoing and roofs change every month; do we fit deterrents now?

Wait until construction finishes completely. Roofs under development may change and pigeons may not have settled yet. Wait for full building completion.

Does salt and moisture from the refinery affect the barriers?

Yes they may. We use rust and moisture resistant materials, and recommend regular inspection because of the industrial environment.

After treatment will pigeons come back from neighbouring districts?

They may try from Al Thaalibah or Al Quraiyat. But if they find the home too well defended, they will look elsewhere. Good treatment stops them returning.

The district is newly developed; will the pigeon problem disappear as the area settles?

It may reduce but not disappear. Pigeons settle quickly in new places. Treatment now stops them settling before the problem becomes chronic.
