Do we treat doors and handrails the same way as a smooth worktop?

If the smell is surface level, disinfection helps. But if it has sunk into furniture, curtains or carpets, disinfection alone will not be enough. The apartment may need ventilation and fabric cleaning first.

After disinfection, should we leave doors and windows shut or open?

Leave them shut while the product dries, because it needs low humidity to work. After two to three hours, open windows for ventilation. Closing too early cancels the effect.
