A fly spends most of its time settled on ceilings, cables, the tops of walls and the sunlit wall outside the door, and that is where the residual and the bait go, not into the air.

Proofing and the follow-up

We close the ways in and sort out the screens and the doors, then come back on a date matching the emergence of the pupae that were already in the medium on the first visit.

Our villa overlooks Al Fayha Park. Is the public garden the source of our flies?

The park is a significant source. It provides shade and moisture. Flies migrate from it into nearby villas, especially when doors and windows stand open to the garden.

We irrigate the garden daily. Does watering increase flies in the house?

Yes. High moisture and wet soil create perfect conditions for larval and pupal development in the underground drains. The drain around the villa becomes black liquid, a fly breeding factory.

Our bin is in the corner near the park. Is that the main problem?

The bin is important but not the only source. Flies breed in the damp soil and underground drains. Treating the bin alone will not stop the whole problem.

Will treating just our villa stop the flies or must the park be treated too?

After treatment a month ago flies came back in our villa and next door. Why?

The park was not treated, so it remains a constant reinfection source. New flies migrate from the park and underground drains into neighbouring villas.
