The South sub municipality runs from the edge of Old Makkah Road down to Al Khumrah and the southern corniche. Dense residential districts sit beside new subdivisions such as Al Sanabil and Al Taawun, warehouse fringes such as Al Saruriyah and Al Sarawat, and an old seaside settlement at Al Quzayn. Open stormwater channels cross the housing, and the warehouses, the vegetable and livestock markets and the nearby Islamic Port and Industrial City give pests shelter, food and year round humidity. The shop is on the ground floor and the villa sits above. Do ants come only from the shop?

Ants may come from the shop or from underground from neighbouring villas, so treatment covers the shop and the villa's outer perimeter together, and garden soil and buried roots may need treatment too.

The small garden has many ants. Does it attract ants from outside the district?

The garden may supply nearby ants with water, but this does not mean ants come from outside the district. The main problem usually sits inside the building, and the garden is just a support source.

The villa is old with cracks. Does the ant enter from outside?

I see red ants in the garden and black ants in the villa. Are they the same species?

If treatment is thorough and includes the outside perimeter and garden, ants will not return. But prevention requires keeping openings sealed and managing the underground moisture.

Is it safe if I spray the garden myself before your team arrives?

No, random spraying may scatter the nest deeper into soil, making later treatment harder. It is better to wait for full treatment without any prior spraying.
