I treated my flat but they keep coming back from next door

There's a restaurant under my building. Is that the source?

Often it is. Ground-floor restaurants and bakeries store food and give off heat and damp that support a full colony. We check the route it uses to climb, from the shop up through the stairwell and service risers, and treat those contact points so your kitchen does not become an extension of the shop below.

Large cockroaches come up out of my bathroom drain

Those are usually American cockroaches climbing up from the low drainage network beneath the district, not breeding inside your home. We treat the nearby gullies and inspection chambers and fit or repair the water traps in the outlets, which cuts off the route they use to come up at night.

Does the whole building need treating, or just my flat?

Treating the whole block is best, but it is not a condition of starting. We can treat your flat while sealing the pipe openings and gaps that link it to the neighbours, which keeps the insect from crossing to you. If the neighbouring units can be booked in too, the result lasts longer.

Our building is old with cracked walls. Will spraying help?

In older buildings the cracks are both hiding places and travel routes, so a surface spray alone is not enough. We work bait into the cracks and around door frames and pipe entries, reaching where the roaches actually shelter instead of only treating the surfaces you can see.

Why do they surge after rain or drain works?

Al Wazeeriyah sits low, and when it rains or the sewer lines are opened, American cockroaches are pushed out of the network towards the homes above. At those times we concentrate on the gullies, inspection chambers and floor outlets, because that is the temporary route in that widens whenever the ground fills with water.
