How we work

Inspect and map the water

We walk the perimeter, the roof, the garden, the meter chambers and the condensate runs, record everything that holds water, and read the species from the breeding site and the time of biting.

Remove the water that can go

Empty, invert, cover: saucers, containers, old tyres and roof gullies. Every point that disappears is a treatment that never needs repeating.

Larval treatment, then the resting surfaces

Water that cannot be drained is treated so the larva never completes, then a residual goes under planting, beneath outdoor furniture and along low shaded walls.

The follow-up visit

We come back once the generation that was in the water on the first visit has completed, review every point we recorded and re-treat where needed.

Questions about this district

Does the large private garden in a spacious villa provide better mosquito habitat?

Yes. The large walled private garden provides enclosed standing water, and mosquitoes breed there without external interference. Each villa is essentially a separate breeding ground.

Why did the mosquitoes I killed yesterday return from the garden today?

Because standing water in the garden generates new generations every week to two weeks. Treating the villa alone kills adults but the trapped water below ground continues breeding.

Does air-conditioning condensate around the villa alone provide enough water to feed mosquitoes year round?

Nearly yes. Air-conditioning provides a steady fresh water supply, and the garden adds water from irrigation. Together they create an ideal persistent breeding environment.

Do walled villas have more mosquitoes than unwalled ones?

Not necessarily more, but the type differs. Standing water is trapped inside the wall and breeds a local population. Unwalled villas may receive insects from outside as well as breeding internally.

What should I do in my garden to reduce standing water?

Improve garden drainage, slightly reduce watering or switch to efficient drip systems, and remove fountains and small ponds. Clearing drains of leaves and debris is also important.

Does Al Andalus near the sea need more frequent treatment than distant villa districts?

Slightly yes. Higher humidity accelerates development and water remains damp longer. Treatment every ten to twelve days may be more effective than every three weeks.
